Little Guppy Birthday Party Planning

It's birthday planning time. I love birthday's! My little man Maxon is going to be turning two. Makes me sad. My baby is now going to be a real toddler.

The theme this year is "Little Guppy." A big  part of my insiration has come from Goldfish Colors crackers

I just finished the bunting/banner this week. I'm in love with it! I do not have a Cricut or a Silhouette machine so all of the cutting of the shapes and letter was by me.

After dropping Sophia off at preschool, Max and I went thrifting yesterday. I found these great fish bowls for $2.99 each. I think they will make fun serving bowls for food at the party.

Surgery

Well, I told you I have been having some medical problems and this Thursday, March 31st I will be having exploratory surgery. I have an IUD that has gone through my uterus and is now back by my spinal cord/ tail bone. It's been wandering around in my body for the last 19 months doing who knows what. This will be my FOURTH procedure to remove it. So, here is to hoping it will be the last! I'm praying that this will be the end to all my issues.

Now I will really be taking short vacation from blogging and crafting. I promise I will be back!

PS. Don't every get and IUD!

Weekend Time

Time to relax and enjoy some family time. 

Well I'm going to try to relax. I've got a hot date with my hubby tonight. We are heading to the comedy club to see Chris Porter from "Last Comic Standing." Then Sunday I've got the baby shower. I can't wait to give Lisa the baby quilt. I'm also going to make a matching bib and burp cloth set.

Alright I may be on a little hiatus but I still managed to make this cute little quilt.  Our good  friends are expecting their first baby and it's a boy! Their shower is in a few weekends and I just could not, not make them something special. I can't wait to give it to them!

Mini Vacation from Blogging

Hello everyone! Oh how I have missed my crafting and blogging. I wish I could say that I have been away on a vacation but I have been having some medical issues. I will be away for a little longer but, please stick around as I will be back for sure.
